Our Mission

We strive to provide high-quality, accessible education to those who need it most, with dignity and respect. Our programs are designed to be culturally sensitive and relevant to the needs of our learners, and we work closely with community organizations and partners to ensure that our services are reaching those who need them most. By empowering non-literate adults with the skills they need to succeed, we aim to make a positive impact on their lives and the lives of their families and communities.

At Open Slate, we believe that education is a fundamental right, and we are committed to making it accessible to all. We have already made a significant impact in the lives of over 5 million adults in India who lack basic literacy, and we continue to work towards our goal of providing education to all those who need it. With the support of our partners and donors, we have received ₹500 million in CSR funding, which has enabled us to expand our programs and reach more learners.

Our approach is centered around a dignity-first approach, which recognizes the inherent worth and dignity of every individual. We believe that every person deserves the opportunity to learn and grow, regardless of their background or circumstances. By providing accessible education, we aim to promote social responsibility and community impact, and to empower our learners to become active participants in their communities.
